Radio/Navi Screen Upgrade

Has anyone done a mod or retrofit from the regular navigation screen on a 1st gen X4 to a bigger and touchscreen one? ( not counting the Android retrofit) just regular system with bigger and touch screen

I wonder if you can just plug and play a later model one to the old one, have to take the stuff behind it aswell.
