Thats right! You're exactly 1 year behind in updates per this version. Newest version is 7/2021.

Hi guys. I have a 2019 x3m in the UK.
Istep from the mpd file is showing: S15A-21-07-530 I presume that's means I am sorted with the latest update? It was in for service and DME recall. They mentioned programming. I have MSS springs and notice the ride is more comfortable running mps4s. I usually run 5-10% less pressure and they bumped them to spec too. Thanks |

Got the update done today at Auto West BMW in Richmond, BC. I was very upfront about why I wanted it (suspension) and brought up also lane keeping assistant and Apple CarPlay. My SA used CarPlay as the reason for upgrading car's I-Level (this is what shows up on their screen). No problems to have it done and no cost to me.
I have a very early MY2021 that shipped with I-Level 07/20. They upgraded now to latest, which is 07/21 (shown in Imprint menu). So far I only drove home and cannot yet say too much about the suspension or anything else, as I also had winter tires be swapped on. Feels good but how much of that are tires vs. suspension? Happy to have the latest software and interesting to see if things will truly feel different. Maybe the biggest changes have been to those with a MY2020, I don't know. No harm on having the latest version regardless. |

Just had the update done thanks to the information from Klazu.
Love the more refined suspension, definitely made my X4M a much more usable car. Fullscreen CarPlay is another nice bonus. Can't say I'm a fan of the new steering feel though. It seems they softened the Sport Plus steering and introduced a "numb" are around the center. Kinda miss the old heavy steering feel… |

I'm curious to see how it performs afterwards (assuming they don't give me any headaches about doing it). My only complaint about the steering is that it is twitchy - like if you are 1 degree of center it wants to dart into the next lane/turn around and go home lol. |

The mechanic (I assume) decided my pressures were too high and lowered them ~10lbs to 32F/35R I filled them back up and it seems less harsh but I had to put my winters on so we'll see in the spring. Question: Last night I tried coding with Bimmercode but it will not seem to take the ambient lighting changes (blue top/red bottom) nor the Angle Eye brightness (I see the modules for the headlights but no option to change). Anyone have any advice on this? I updated to the latest version of Bimmercode but no luck. |

The Angel Eye brightness is still not available (it has the modules for the headlights but no opportunity to make a change). As an FYI, Apple iOS 15 seems to have rendered Ethernet adapters useless as they no longer work. I had to use an old phone in order to finish my coding today. |

Nothing wrong with that and sharing it. You probably help (will help) some members.
After 12 months of ownership (2020 & 2022), I "just noticed" that my Blue Light Ambiant Lighting on the doors switch to Pulsating Red when the door is open... |

Is this only when the engine is running? I always wondered why they didn't offer red as a color. |

On my X5MC, it only flashes red when the engine is operating. I would imagine the same would be true for any vehicle with ID7.

It also pulses the dash ambient lighting when an incoming call is coming thru as a visual. |

I got some time to drive around with the new software update tonight.
Keep in mind I have my (softer) 20" winter tires on so it's hard to say what is due to the softer rubber vs. the suspension updates but it definitely feels more refined/smoother. Road imperfections don't come across as dramatic now and the ride is far smoother. I might even say it is too smooth in comfort mode with the winter tires so hoping it is the sweet spot when I put my summers back on. In addition, it changes gears (from P to R or P to D) much quicker/smoother (so far). I had an issue where it would hesitate for almost 10 seconds at times in my driveway or where it would slam into reverse going from park in the garage. Those have not happened since so hopefully the software update is the resolution. The full screen CarPlay is also nice - though since I did the brightness mod on my control screen it is now super bright at night with an album showing lol. Not sure why the dealer took 2 days to program it, but very happy with the results! I'm glad I held out for a software fix rather than a hardware option like MSS springs. |
