676 Hi-Fi Non-RAM Amplifier Output Wiring Diagram
Howdy Folks,
I've searched pretty extensively, and I think I just need to create a new post for my question. I have a 2019 X3 with the 676 Hi-Fi system, non-RAM. I'm getting ready to add a mono amplifier with subwoofer, and I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the outputs of this OEM amplifier. My goal is to add my LOC to the outputs that go to the under seat woofers. Thanks! |

I assume you want the pinouts for the connector to the 676 HiFi amp. The ID6 676 HiFi outputs multi-channel analogue from the NBT Head unit, so it should be possible to intercept the pre-amplified analogue output from the HU if you prefer. Last edited by avi66; 05-09-2024 at 01:41 AM.. |

I promised an update on this. Here are my findings.
Please note that the wire colors listed below are the amplifier outputs, and what you would see at the under seat woofer connector. Verified at the woofer connector using a multimeter: USA models: Left under seat woofer Black wire w/brown tracer = Positive Black wire w/red tracer = Negative Right under seat woofer Blue wire w/red tracer = Positive Blue wire w/brown tracer = Negative Hope this helps anyone else |

Interesting
They're showing the Black wire w/brown tracer as the negative, and black wire w/red tracer as the positive. I just double checked with my multimeter again, and what I have listed above is showing the correct polarity. Maybe the information within the diagram is incorrect? |

The diagram is for a different AMP, so I can’t say for sure what your HiFi version is as ISTA is VIN based, and I don’t have an ID6 HiFi 676 VIN. |
