Help - need exact tyre model
Argghhhh! 2inch screw in sidewall.
I'm having trouble finding the exact same tyre online, can find 275/40 w106 pzero but tread pattern looks distinctly different. Is there a way to find the exact tyre model currently fitted? Last edited by The.bands; 08-20-2019 at 01:42 PM.. |

more pics uploaded.
Closest tread match I can find is [url] but it's not exactly the same. Edit: https://www.halfordsautocentres.com/tyres/pirelli/p-zero-luxury/275-40-r20-106w-rft-xl-bmw-73cb Last edited by The.bands; 08-20-2019 at 01:58 PM.. |

If you look closely the tred pattern isn't exactly the same. Most noticeable on the right hand edge where on my tyres there are twice as many horizontal cuts leading to the first groove. It does look the closest match I have found though. |

Have you tried https://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/cars
They are showing two patterns available in your size and make. |

I think it must be either this one: https://camskill.co.uk/m77b0s3837p15..._Noise%3A_73dB Or this one: https://camskill.co.uk/m77b0s3837p15..._Noise%3A_70dB Ignore the photos on any tyre listing, they’re just for rough reference. |

Oh I see what you mean it's LS. I think that the only version in our sizes. This is what I ordered from www.Camskill.co.uk.

Thanks for all the help guys. Was able to confirm it's the LS that I needed. Nice picture of the sidewall on my mytyres.co.uk and I was able to match it exactly with the various numbers on my tyre so tyre now ordered and awaiting delivery early next week.
What's your opinion on driving on the damaged tyre for a couple of days. Would only be short journeys of 6-7 mile at 30 mph. They are run flats but also eXtra Load rated. |

Ordered one of these from Amazon as a running repair until my new tyre arrives next week.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-...1YZ98GKFHPHEMW Pleasantly surprised at how easy and effective it is. PSI holding steady at 35 so I can now drive the car as normal knowing that there is still the run flat to fall back on. Not advocating as a permanent repair for a sidewall problem but definitely seems worth carrying around in the boot as an emergency fix in case of any future punctures. Anyone else used one of these? |
