What's the money factor currently? If it's good, these could make a great lease.

Fairly sure it went up slightly in January, from .00128 to .00137

Even with the slight increase in MF, BMW continues to offer the most enticing lease deals vs. MB, Alfa, Jag, or Tesla.

(I prefer 2 year leases to stay current)

I live in the DC area and 10% off before incentives is very doable (for inventory or factory order). It seems 12% is where they “barely make any money”, so anything you get 10%+ off is a good deal imo. If they laugh you off at 12, try 11.5 or just keep trying different dealers.
Do you mind pm'ing me who gave you 10% in the dc area? I went to Rockville and they quoted sticker. Might have been above sticker as they low balled my trade

Not quite DC, but Princeton in NJ will do 10% over email...just go straight to the sales manager

I held it for 12% but that took a lot of work and finding one that's been on the lot for a few months

Pretty much every dealer in NJ gave me 10% going straight to the sales manager over email. This is all before incentives and at the base money factor

Has anyone in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area had any luck getting a decent deal on these?

Also I'm not in a crazy hurry so would there be any advantage pricewise to waiting to grab a current model that's available whenever they release the inevitable ID7/Live Cockpit update?

Is there any discrepancy in MSRP for purchase versus lease? I know the financing offered via BMW can garner a bit more flexibility on price, but am wondering if 10%ish is doable for purchase. Thx!

Unfortunately I'm not too sure, I would think 10% is also possible on purchase

It makes no difference to the dealer if you lease or finance. I got over 10% off on my finance.

2020 X4 M40i - good deal on a lease?

Hi all

New to the forum - thanks for your support!

X4 M40i 2020
So. Cal

MF: 0.00137
Residual: 56%
12K/36MO

MSRP: $68,520
Dealer current price: $65,000
Incentives: $4,750
Final price: $60,250

From looking at these forums, it seems I should be able to get a lower price from the dealer before incentives...is 10% off realistic? So looking at about $61,700 before the incentives?

THANK YOU!

From what i understand, if you live in Northern CA (which it appears you do) you need to move your search to So Cal for your lease. The Bay Area is notoriously bad for getting a decent % off MSRP. You'll have more luck down south and a nice drive back up to break in your vehicle

Getting 10% off is going to save you close to $4K over the course of your lease so it's well worth it!

Why do you prefer the X4 M40i over the X4M? The residual is better on the X4M (57% 12k miles) and you may get it discounted to be only slightly more money than the X4 M40i....

Hi all

I'm looking at a X4 M40i 2020 MSRP is 68,500, dealer is offering 6% off before $4,750 in incentives. I posted about the 10% before...but today they came back saying no to the 10%

I've seen postings here saying 10% should be where I want to get, but I'm also in the Bay Area and I hear dealers don't negotiate much here...would rather not fly to So Cal.

Is 6% fair for the region I'm in?

THANKS!

can you take the time to read what people have already written in regards to your question? Also this thread is more specifically for x3m/x4m.

THANKS!

Looking pretty good, I think.

$84,395 MSRP X3MC
$14,900 in discounts ($9400 off MSRP, $5500 in incentives)

$73k out the door with VA tax/tag

17.6% off
2.99% APR through BMW

I pick her up on Friday--pretty stoked!

Many thanks for the intel--pics to follow.

That sounds incredible. How did you get the $9400 off? How much of the $5500 was for loyalty?

I wonder if sales are slumping enough on these for them to discount so much?

kudos to you!! I'm also in the DC area and I got 8% off.

I don't know how you guys have the patience to get them to 17%. I just wanted the car and around 8% I was like "whatever.."

To be fair, the ~17% was after discount and incentives. The $9.4k off was 11% off MSRP, plus the $4500 in BMW incentives plus $1500 loyalty for a total off MSRP of ~17%. Took work and getting 2 dealers involved. Also, I happened to find the exact build I was looking for, and both had happened to be on the lot for 100+ days. This, coupled with winter and 2 weeks of rainy weather, allowed the stars to align.

Same exact deal I got on a lease. Mine was more like 11.4 before incentives. You need to work it. Took 90 days for me to get it and end of year. I'm still shocked that bmw has not thrown in trunk money yet to move these.
