Does anyone have access to this document that can post it or provide the TSB number?

I have an appointment for the November 19 update next week.

My car is a late October build and was delivered 1st week of January. The dealer was not aware of the update although i have specifically pointed out the car needs an update prior delivery. Dumbass…..

I'll try to get a copy or at least a screenshot of the document.

Got the update for iDrive7 today. The so called I-Stufe was updated to 11-19 (November) to get Remote 3D View and fix various other issues.

After dealer notified me the update is done, Remote 3D View worked instantly.

Unfortunately they did not tell me the TSB No.

Got idrive software updated today in UK due to issues with connected app not updating. Can confirm that remote view now works and as an added bonus my nav favourites are now syncing

They are louder, yes. But, I thought they were too quiet before and now just slightly louder than ideal. That said my other half is always saying I'm going deaf.

Hello my friends....
So I’ve had my new X3 since last Saturday. I will tell you that Remote 3D view only works if you keep your mirrors unfolded. When you set them to fold when locking, the connection will always jam up at “activating camera system” or whatever that second step is. For whatever reason, your side mirrors need to be unfolded.
Plus, you need a good connection, as it takes up to a minute anyway... so a good internet connection wherever you are helps speed up the whole process.
Every time I’ve tried with mirrors folded in, no dice! But every time with mirrors unfolded, works like a charm!!

The process takes a while. In my experience, it's at least a minute.

In terms of the mirrors, they must be unfolded for the side pictures to be taken. However, the Remote 3D View process is designed to do that automatically. I've actually watched, with my car locked and the mirrors folded. When I initiate Remote 3D View, after a bit, the mirrors unfold and then re-fold. If that's not happening for you, there's a problem somewhere along the line, probably something internal to the car.

I picked my 2020 M40i last week and tested this feature. It works about 95% of the time for me.
