Have an ‘06 X3 2.5i with 290k kms and last little bit it’s been running rough at times and even stalling. Threw a bunch of codes the other day, 2882, 2883, 2738, 273D, 29B5, and 28A2. I cleared all of those to see what would come back and a drive down the road it stalled multiple times but just the 28A2 code came back. Using my scan tool it seems both Vanos solenoids work as engine will basically stall when activating them, the secondary air pump spins up, can’t find a vacuum line anywhere coming off the secondary air valve so that’s weird, but I’m wondering if this is simply a case of plugged cats? Anyone have that happen and experience with it? Thanks.
