I've also heard circle bmw usually has good pricing and will ship to APO addresses like mine overseas. Luckily, I've got the rest of the summer to figure this out.

I picked up my M40i at the Welt in December, first stop was the dealer to switch out the tires. It snowed that week in Munich but luckily when I drove home Sat. it had already been cleared. At that point all of the 19" sets were sold out so TireRack was the easiest solution.

Anybody know why these Orbit Grey wheels are no longer available in the configurator?

Exact same as the ones on all current delivered units but grey interior rather than jet black.

I don't know why. I wanted the orbit grey myself when I ordered my X3M. But it's not possible. Strange...

Seems it may just be an issue with the configurator. I e-mailed BMW Genius and this was their response:

Our records indicate the 21" V-Spoke bi-color orbit grey wheels, style 765M with performance non-runflat tires are available for the 2020 BMW X3 M Competition as an individual option. The 21" V-Spoke bi-color jet black wheels, style 765M with performance non-runflat tires are the standard option.

Thank you for bringing the inconsistencies on our Build Your Own website to our attention. We have made our website team aware of your discovery. As the Build Your Own is a tool to help visualize potential options, we advise speaking with a Client Advisor at your local BMW center for customizing your vehicle. Your Client Advisor will also speak to availability, allocations, and pricing for the 2020 BMW X3 M.

Is it possible to order an X3MC and downgrade to the 20 inch rims so I can put some all season tires on? if not can you put the 265/40R21 premier Ltx or scorpion verde all season tires on the front and rear since the factory offset is normally 255 upfront and 265 in the back?

I’m doing the 265 as soon as it arrives. The 265 specs fine on a 9.5” rim.

Thanks for the info@onfirex5. It's absolute stupidity for Bmw not to offer an all season tire/rim option for us that live in areas that get winter.

Would like to see the updated Ordering and Pricing Guides (released Jul 2019), as I've been told the Bi-color Orbit Grey Wheels are no longer mentioned. Is it because they are the 'Forged' versions and the black are cast as ND40oz indicated in the Tech documents thread?

Sorry for adding even more confusion!

Good news. Tire Rack has the X3M and comp in their system now. I plugged in an X3MC and not only did it pull up the correct oem replacements, it also had compatible winter tires in the proper sizes for the factory rims. Apparently, The Pirelli Scorpion winters (which is the dedicated winter tire I prefer as coincidence would have it) now come in our size. Looks like I won't have to buy a full rim/tire package after all. Only thing off was Tire Rack had the 265s up front and the 255s in the rear. Doh!

Question. So is the x3m running the old 5x120 bolt pattern since it is still part of the f-series or is it running the 5x112 from the g series .

This is the only winter tire package that my dealer got in their system. For the X3M (F97)

Dealer package? Yes, my Italian dealer quoted me 3500 euro ($4k) (without tax) for that same package. Then I saw on Tire Rack that Pirelli makes Scorpion Winters in our Factory Rim size which would only set me back about $1,500 with shipping to my APO address in Italy. Not to mention I, can keep those beautiful factory rims on the car all year. That made it a no brainer for me. Maybe if I were in Germany where they spread a lot more salt and chemicals on the roads, I would be more tempted to get a completely different, more resilient, set of winter rims. But down in Nothern Italy, we don't get snow very often except in the mountains. Summer rims/ winter tires works for me at this price!

I was so distracted that I forgot to check . However during the driving event but I was able to snap one pic.

Definitely looks old like the 5x120 (x3m bottom)

5x112 (g02 top )

So you plan to use the same rims and just swap out the tires that are mounted on them? Most places won't do that more than once because it degrades the tire.

Not sure how you got tire rack to show any winter tires, there's nothing when I put it in. They only have 1 option for summers.

Not sure if my US ZIP code at my APO address opened up some possibilities. Regardless, these are the choices (attached) when I scroll through tires on a 2020 X3MC. I also don't plan on a set of tires lasting more than 2 seasons , so it would only be 1 more mounting than on a dedicated set of rims.

How much of a difference will it make in handling running the 265 all season tires on all four rims and not keeping the staggered oem configuration?

Do you guys think theese wheels (726M Rear ET 43 / width 9,5"
Front ET 30 / width 8,5") will work on the X3M as winter wheels?

I'm pretty sure every new BMW is 5x112 but someone should confirm that. Also pretty sure that every wheel 20-21" from G01 X3 should fit since they are essentially the same other than brakes when it comes to fitting wheels.

I see the point that you are trying to make. All g series cars are 5x112,

The interesting thing is that these M models are f-series... so the are 5x120.

IND confirmed . They have the x3m comp.

The F90 is 5x112, why would they change it for the X3M/X4M and not the M5?
