Send feature is not supported on mobile browser such as Safari in iPhone/ iPad. Go for a full browser on mobile devices or use laptop to view google maps and pick a destination. Click on the destination icon found on the map, and then explore further.

I'm on my laptop and still and not get the option. I did in the past, but don't have it now.

It's free for 4 years in the U.S. I've had the option to send in the past and have used it, but I needed to send something to the car today and I am not getting the option anywhere to send. Ugh!

It's not on the screen that displays the map. Click on the Link icon next to the Print icon.

I've had the X3 for about 9 months now, love it. A couple of small things I didn't know before that I like:

When you put your finger on the programmable buttons (not pressing them though) you get a menu at the top that shows you what the button is set to.

When I close the door and lock the car, if all the doors aren't closed yet it will wait until they close and then lock the car.

I find that I like the heated steering wheel a lot more than I thought I would.

Pandora works with my iphone and the screen even without BMW apps installed and also charges the iphone when plugged in via the USB port in the center console.

The scroll button on the steering wheel usually is very useful and seems to be well thought-out about what it controls at any given time.

The premium sound is better than I was expecting. I know some complain about it but I think its great.

I like the design of the cruise control with the little green and red lights that go around the speedo.

Love the LEDs around the door handles.

Not sure if it has been covered earlier in the thread, but the USB port in the glove box (not referring to the one in the centre armrest) will charge your phone/iPod/etc. I believe that this secondary USB port is for storing/transfering driver profiles.

Against what I thought, the side mirror heating is turned on same time as back window heating.

We had +15 celsius this morning and heavy fog and mist on mirrors. I was afraid that mirror heating will not turn on as it is not raining nor it is cold enough. But it seems rear window heating "force" side mirror heating on as well.

Fog:

+1 to all I that. I had no idea before we bought the X3 about:

- LED door handle lights. Cool
- Nav guidance can be displayed on the LCD between the gauges on the dash
- Sport display of HP and Torque gauges

Some minuses
- Can't close tailgate from remote without coding. This is nuts! Every other car with power tailgate that I know of allows this.
- PDC turns off after you move forward. In our Honda it stays on all the time which is nice when you whip the car into a parking garage or drive thru ATM. You shouldn't have to remember to turn it on every time. I nearly ran into the garage wall the first night waiting to hear the sensors beep.

When cruise is engaged, I like how it temporarily shows the exact speed on the LCD between the gauges, everytime you adjust the cruise speed. I can't remember if our old X5 did this or not, so I don't know if its a new feature, but I'm glad its there.

The USB input in the glovebox is in a bad location. My USB stick has a sliding switch to extend it and it's on the left side of the stick so my thumb gets in the way between the glovebox left side wall and the USB stick.
There's not much room for my thumb.

On the underside of the sun visor, to the right of the mirror, there is a small lip, to hold a key card for a parking garage. Love that.

The nicest surprise for me was the ambient lighting at night. It's a nice touch.
