headlight and adaptive

Went to BMW dealer to get a headlight fixed. Low beam /Hi beam out (1 bulb in 2013). I know its not the bulb, tested it. They wanted $179 to diagnose. Not credited towards repair. Pissed me off. Been having BMW's serviced under warranty at this dealer for over 25 years.
At same time as getting the low beam warning message getting adaptive headlight malfunction.
I know there are 3 modules controlling these things. Anyone know if its the same module for these two malfunctions? And which modular that would be?

This is the 3rd thread you started for the same problem where your headlight is not working from back in March as well as a ton of PMs to me where I explained how to diagnose the problem, which you did nothing with. Open one thread and add to it so there's some history, don't keep opening new threads hoping someone will give you the answer you want.

I took your suggestion and tested the bulbs.
Anything more than that was more than what I could diagnose.

Additionally I took your suggestion to post in open forum not just pm. Again other forums have no problem with pm's.

As a member of numerous forums I have never had anyone make the ridiculous comment about posting more than once. When you post more than once different people see it at different times and often respond.

Feel free to not respond to any of my inquiries in the future, as well as keeping your opinions and remarks to yourself.

Yes, it was Bayside BMW.

I'm sorry, but starting 3 different threads in the same forum about the exact same problem and providing small tidbits of info in each thread is not the smartest way get your problem resolved.

What you're saying about having multiple threads so different people see it at different times make no sense. just tack on to the original single thread, or you loose all the history!

Could be xenon ballast or driver module failed.
I think what you're not getting is this is the 3rd thread the originator started for the same problem, which all these ideas to diagnose the problem have already been discussed in the previous threads. smh

I appreciate the replies to my question. Especially the new ones that never responded to my previous posts.

I guess Bayside BMW is definitely the dealer to use for service.
