And the Coupe design tends to sit a little higher.
X6 is higher than X5, X6M too.
But also slanted rear half play tricks with your eye.

All I noticed from H&R Sport spring, the rear is higher than the front.
I think the ACS spring gives more even drop.

Usually, lowering spring will settle for another 1/16 to 1/8.
You confirmed my suspicion that X4's are higher but for a model that is supposed to be the sleeker, sportier vehicle, it just doesn't make much sense.

Maybe I'll install some springs, if it's still too tall, I'll go with coilovers.

Thanks for the info.

Anytime.
Do lower it first before deciding on wheel spacer.

Looking forward for your mods.

X4 gotta prevails the X6 where rarely modded compared to the X5.

The X4 isn’t higher, it has identical ride height and ground clearance to the X3.

Care to chime in on this r33_RGSport?

By my eyes it not only appears taller with a bigger wheel gap, but the fenders look to be a bit wider as well. I have read/seen contradicting info all over the place.

To update, I am having H&R Springs and spacers installed this coming week.

It could be right.
I am normally dealing with F15 X5 and F16 X6 customers. Both are sharing the same chassis, but F16 X6 is a tad higher and wider.
Not really sure on the G02 X4 to G01 X3.
Cars are very new, not too many seen on the road or coming by my shop for lowering.
Many just for spacers and little cosmetics mods.

I figured I'd add my contribution to this thread. Had H&R's installed last week with the wheel swap. I can't believe how well these ride. I'm sure the non-RFT helps, even going to 22", but I have myself convinced the ride is better than stock.

Wow, looks great! Love the wheel setup and the drop really completes it. Love it!

Did you use the G01 H&R Sport Springs (Part 28926-1)? Have you noticed any difference in how the X4 feels to drive? it looks so much better!

Yes, that is the part #.

Surprisingly, the ride is a little too mushy for my liking. The tech told me he lowered my tire pressure so that may be the main reason. I have to go back in to re-torque the lugs in the next few days so I will have them adjust it and report back after that.

Jwright82. Car looks sick man, are you running 22 inch wheels? If so what's your set up, tire size, offset, etc.

Thank you sir! I got your PM and sent you a response there, but here ya go: 22x9 et35 and 10.5 et45, but will be doing 10mm spacers all around. Tires are 265-35 and 295-30.

H&R rides very rough especially with 20s, still noticeable with 19s when I had my X4 M40i

That hasn't been my experience so far. Did you have standard or adaptive dampers?

They're called Dynamic Damper Controls or Electronic Dampers it is Adaptive , as it is standard in the X4 M40i (N55) model.

Maybe in Tristate area roads
