Great question actually.

I can tell you that the diameter was perfect on the 19s. I don't have a picture on my phone .

Part of the reason I took off the h &r spacers when I mounted my winter set is that there was a color difference (black wheels vs silver spacer ). And the diameter of the spacer was too big for my aftermarket wheels. It looked dumb.

I'm sure someone with the 21s will report back soon.
That's it exactly.

I know it sounds a bit much but just want to keep the quality look of this this thing. Thought it maybe just me or maybe because I've only had it a week now. 😂🤣😀😂

Thanks for the response and comments

I had some terrible contrast here .

I planed on buying black spacers to fix it.

We can also use the conventional BMW wheels (5x120) with 15mm PCD adaptors. I had a mint set of 303M wheels on my wife's F25 28i and found the GO1 had a different bolt pattern (5x112).

The 15mm PCD adaptors (spacers) behind the 303M wheels increases the offset 17mm front and the rear beyond the stock 20" wheels and is just inside the guards almost flush.

Hi,

If I go for 12 or 13mm spacers, will 43mm length bolts fit as well or we need shorter ones like 40mm ?

In case I mix spacers (12 mm rear and 15 mm front), if I can have same length bolts, no risk to swap the bolts when removing the wheels.

Good question.

I think they can be same Length.

11mm to 15mm uses the same length of lug bolts since H&R only made certain length of longer lug bolts.
But, I always check the clearance before I torque them down and start driving.
You check the clearance by spinning the wheel after you put on the lug bolts and make sure the lug bolts didn't catch to anything behind the wheel hub.

Actually, I found quite a lot of various wheel bolts length on H&R catalog, that's why I was asking.

I guess that the genuine BMW wheel bolts are 27 mm length. So 43mm bolts for a 15mm spacer makes sens but for 12mm spacer, 40mm bolts would be more appropriate, right ?

Based on your experience, if you presume that 43mm length bolts can fit from 11 to 15mm spacers, that's perfect

I guess I should clarify my information.
H&R USA product catalog (paper catalog), only shows lug bolts length of 35mm, 43mm, and 50mm.

BMW original bolt is 27mm.

Since you are in Switzerland, maybe H&R Germany can give you more exact answer. You should be in the same timezone, right?

On my F30 I found that the 43mm bolts stuck out the back of the hub by quite a bit even with 15mm spacers, so I'd say anything between 37mm-43mm would be fine.

Hey kind of a noob question(s) that I think makes sense on this thread. I’m looking to replace OEM wheels (style 698M // 19 x 7.5) for the M40i and trying to nail down the best offset. I want to keep 19 diameter and open to buying new tires. Question 1 — should I shoot for a staggered wheel set-up with 19 x 8.5 front and 19 x 9.5 rear (same wheel widths as the 718M factory offering) or keep 19 x 8.5 all-around? Seems like people are staggering their spacer set-up. Question 2 — to mimic the visual look of a 698M style wheel w/ 10mm spacer, I would need to go lower offset on a new wheel buy correct? Most of the wheels I see on tire rack are 30mm or higher which suggests to me that I would need to buy spacers anyway to get closer to what you guys are posting here. Thanks in advance for the input.

Any shots from the front and rear of the vehicle at the same distance as these two photos? I'm trying to see if it replicates how aggressive looking some of the E70s were (even though e70 tired may have been deeper)

Apart from the tailgate they’re exactly the same car, so 15mm all round.

So I am a bit confused, with the 21 inch option wheels on mine, it appears that the rear wheels poke out further than the fronts, so did you put the 12mm in the rear and the 15mm in the front? That worked on my M3 to make them all flush with the fenders. Comments please.

I would say you could even go larger than 15mm on rear, but 15mm max on front.
