Wanna make your car handle 1000x better? Ditch the run flats for a good summer tire

Thanks for replying
The only difference in a picture of my engine bay and the one above is the engine, I6 vs I4. There is still plenty of clearance between the engine cover and the strut brace. There is soo much room in our engine bays, I wish the V8 had been an option.

I dont have any other suspension mods, but I did get rid of the run-flats which made a big difference in comfort and steering feel. The strut brace just added to the steering feel, but the tires made a bigger difference. I do think the X3 stays a little flatter in the turns since I put on the strut brace, but no data to back it up, just seat of the pants feel, similar to butt-dyno.

100% true, when I switched to 20" and 275/35 in the back, the car became a lot more pleasant to drive.

Sweet, sounds like a good deal to me! Did you keep the same bolts or got longer ones?

I think I will buy this. I am going to be taking my X3 to Sebring in the coming months and I be sure to let you guys know how it changes the way it feels.

I'd imagine it really only makes a difference on the N55 cars just from the extra weight, just my speculation.

Any update on how it feels on the track with the strut bar installed?

Did well on Sebring. I'm also on coilovers and PS4S. Feels tighter up front and it wants to listen to you a little better. Seems like less understeer too.
