20% + off UK BMW Shop and free P&P

I wasn’t going to post a new thread but not everyone reads all the posts and a few people asked for the link yesterday in a post.

Although my M40i is about 4 weeks away I treated it to an M Performance key case and the X3 rubber mat set of 4. At checkout the order was reduced by £33 which made the key case like a freebie with the current discount.

Looks like today they are saying more discounts and Black Friday offers too so happy shopping, makes the OEM parts a mor realistic price with 20% or 30% off and free P&P

Looks like the deals end 27th November so not just 1 day

Excellent thanks! I was tempted to treat myself to an M key fob, so this discount makes it a no brainer.

Thanks again HampshireUK

I was one of the ones who asked for the link - this is very useful.
My wife may be less grateful.

Crazy really especially when I don’t have my M40i yet but have a few more things in the basket including the LED torch that goes in the 12v socket.

It’s a shame they don’t have any of the 19” wheel, tyre and TPMS packages showing available as this would take off £500 and I would pull the trigger for OEM wheels etc for about £1800. Maybe this is on purpose to avoid too many orders of wheels.

Happy shopping

Happy shopping
They don't seem to have the cheaper 2 options, but they have these (the smoked 698M):
https://shop.bmw.co.uk/INTERSHOP/web...&CategoryName=

Brings them down to £2320, saving £580

Had that in my 3 series wagon - only ever used it for reducing the size of the boot to support shopping bags and stop them flying around.

Seemed like a great idea but just didn't use it much.

I have ordered the Autec Kitano 19's for £580, and got a set of lightly used oem TPMS valves for £50!

Adding a set of Conti 850P's and fitting will come to only £1260 total!

The black wheels are out of stock so I've ordered the silver ones, they don't look too bad but I might end up getting them painted Orbit Grey, what do you think?

To answer Teaston - What do I say? I say I feel somewhat relieved to be not looking at all size combos etc.., and then I feel really pissed off because you paid a shit load less ;-) . All credit to you - I should've waited on the all clear and copied you. However, life is life.

To answer HampshireUK: Funny story. I moaned at BMW - remember they had the 20% gig on a couple of weeks back ending 04-Nov? And I tried to order the same and it wouldn't let me, yet on the day after the sale finished it did? LOL. I moaned at them, and fair play to BMW they honoured the 20%, I just got it a little early. Jesus those things are not light, I'm scared of mounting them on wall in garage :-o

Well you'll get more for your wheels when you sell them in future, but for me over £2k was outside my comfort zone for winter Wheels. 5 years ago I only paid £800 for brand new 400M's, and sold the tyres for £400! Such a shame there's no M Performance wheels for the X3, it has meant there virtually no wheels being taken off X3's!

I hope you're luckier than me! Few years ago I bought a set of OEM winter wheels from BMW (UK) for my wife's old (E84) X1 for £1700 (there was a similar offer, 25% off £2300). We sold her car a long time ago without the tyres. A couple of months ago I advertised these for £600 (alloys + Pirelli winter tyres with 60-70% life remaining!) and I only had one query in about 2 months! Not a single offer!

The truth is second hand wheels are not easy to sell. I for one don't like to buy second hand alloys. You can't visually see defects and hairline cracks.

Morale of the story is buy what you like, tell your better half how good a deal it was and how much you can sell them later on but for yourself don't bank on resale!

Oh, maybe that’s because it’s a wife’s shopping car type vehicle, and a fairly low volume one.

Looks like I should get at least my £400 back on my 400M’s when I sell them in a couple of months!

And if anyone wants to spend a lot less on their winter wheels, I think the Autec’s look good on the G01, I might even leave them silver:

I had exactly the same trying to get rid of a set for a 1 series!!
Practically gave them away in the end just to clear my garage!!
