Not sure how well it shows but I've got them and they seem to work well, little sportier look and we're cheaper than OEM when I got them due to a sale at Tirerack.

Thanks Asianoak! Any pics from the side or closeup? What brand did you end up going with?

I'll try to take some today. I believe they were Stoptech. There were two different versions that I believe were the exact same other than packaging based on what Tirerack had told me. I've used these on several BMWs and they seem great for street use, not recommended for track though do to cracking.

Thanks! I went ahead and ordered some slotted rotors. I came across a deal too good. Just too bad they didn't have drilled.

Slotted are just as good or better performance wise, and on a vehicle that gets tracked a better choice. On the X3 the drilled look cool but for increased performance and hopefully less warping I think you'll be very happy with the slotted. Post pics once mounted.

The black coating goes away as you use it. You can even brake clean them off if you like before hand. I feel like there's been a slightly better initial bite than oem. I actually meant to order the yellow or green pads, but got these on accident. Despite that, I'm pretty satisfied with it since my main objective was to get something with a better bite and to replace the rotors as it had corrosion on it that wouldn't go away after 2000 miles.
