I am told E-Sys is working with WIn11, but have not tested it myself. Only way to use a Mac is Bootcamp or VMWare with modification to .vmx file.

My PM works now. So you are sure that it doesn't work with Parallels ?

I don't use Mac and I don't use Virtual Machines. That said, unless you can get the guest OS to see the original BIOS data instead of "VMware virtual platform" or whatever the VM reports as BIOS Data, so that E-Sys Launcher believes it's running on a real PC and not inside VM, it won't work. With VMWare, it can be set. With Parallels, I am not aware that it can be set. Feel free to jack with it.

I mean, stuff like this is even needed to replace the battery...

Hello again guys, I apologise for putting this message here but the chat that is most suitable isn't getting any traction. I've looked around and cannot find anyone with my exact issue.
I've got an f83 and wanted hba so I installed the indicator stalk with hba button. Installed the fla camera and wired it up for pin 4 and 5 from the mirror to pin 50 and 49 respectively of A173*8B of the FEM. I used scotch locks from bmw for the connection to the fem. As for coding, I added 5ac to the FA. When I go to create cafd file, I checked my car's I step level and confirmed it to be F020-17-07-504. My issue is when I open the caf selection list, my i-step level doesn't come up on the list. The last one on the list is F020-17-03-509. I picked that and hoped for the best. When I detect svt and all the ecu's show up, at the top it shows 27 ecu's in blue, suggesting their fine and 1 ecu in red, which I'm sure is FLA3. I'm assuming it's either because I didn't have the correct cafd to select from or I just screwed up somewhere else, which is entirely likely knowing myself. I'd love to benefit from all your experiences of working with e-sys so I can get mine working. I'm using psdzdata version 4.32.33 lite and e-sys 3.30.1-49938.

When you Read (ECU), not Read (VCM), all of FLA is Red? Nothing is Blue?

Hi Shawn, thanks for the reply. I just hooked the car up and had another look. FLA is now showing blue when I read the ecu. However, nothing happens when I try to turn on hba on the stalk. Doesn't show on the dash. I must have made a mistake somewhere along the way. If I wired it wrong, would the fla be showing as ok on e-sys?

Does it have CAFD?

shawnsheridan I have a BMW X3 2016 F25 and I am trying to upgrade my steering wheel with the ones the new G01 have however when I swapped the wheels the controls on the new wheel don't work and i got a cruise control error, i guess I have to code the new Wheel can you advise on how to do it through E sys. I am pretty new to retrofitting and I am completely lost. any advice on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea. I never make this retrofit.
