Hey all!
I believe this subject has been touched on before on the forms. I've read that the 21-inch rims on the X3M and 718M Rims have had 255-285 or even 255-295 size tires. I wondered what the best fit would be for the 699M rims (stock 20inch) and the largest size you could go without damaging the car in any way. Thanks! |

Rear Wheels: 9.5Jx20 ET43 (p/n 36108010269) 245 and 275 are max safe for those rims. I'd like to know if the G01 can handle 265 and 285 on a 9x20f and 10x20r set though. |

I’ve come across a couple people here running 265/40 and 295/35. Interested to hear if others are running these sizes, I have a set of Vorsteiner’s that are 21x10 sitting in storage that I’d love to throw on the X3.

I'm in a similar boat and have seen some differing points of view. I have an M40i on order and want to swap out the OEM tires for non-run flat Michelin PS All Season 4s. The options are as follows:
OEM sizes: 245/40/R21 275/35/R21 All Season PS4 potential setups: 255/40/R21 275/35/R21 or 255/40/R21 295/35/R21 Any advice is appreciated... |

The 265/40 & 295/35 - better tire mod is pretty essential... https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1796142
Here is the info for the 21" size. I have 265 and 295 but I have 20". So not entirely applicable to this thread. But the X3M post has all the size and experience info in there also.

Back to this thread, I’m due for tires again…
I’ve seen a couple of forum members run 255/265 front and 285 rear on the stock 20in rims. I know pushing 285 rear on a 9.5in rim is do able, but is it safe to do 255 front on a 8in rim? Specifically on the 20in rims.؟؟ |
