Low Initial Brake Bite

Anyone feel like there’s half to a full inch of mushy travel before their brakes start to truly provide stopping power? I have a 2022 X3M and am surprised by the brake performance…I’m used to BMW brakes being overly grabby but these brakes feel a little lazy. They are OK if you get into them but never are really that great compared to other recent M models.

No might need to bleed the calipers or it has aftermarket pads. I have a 22 x3mc and its very grabby.
