I ordered mine directly from South Korea. It arrived on time as promised, well, actually a day early.
At first I was disappointed; it looked like a piece of CF had been attached to a base piece of plastic. My disappointment disappeared when I got the old piano black piece out, because that is exactly how BMW made this trim piece. It's a two-piece construction. My guess is that the boys in South Korea somehow sourced a bunch of the "base shells" and put their CF shell on top. In fact there was a small BMW barcode sticker on the plastic shell on both the old and new trim piece. Installation was easy: I taped off the rear of the old piece near the center console and used a trim tool to lift it up. Then the fingers could do the rest. Actually, the hardest part was to remove the X4M Competition (in my case) insert near the front. But there are four plastic clips you can access from the outside, or backside, of the trim piece. A small flat-head screwdriver released the tabs and the insert pushed out. The fit and quality is top notch.

Highly recommended - just don't tell your wife what it cost, or go with "it's just a cheap, dumb piece of plastic from Korea." That's my story and I am sticking with it

good point !

same process does not always meant as same qauility. if you want to say something is same process = same quality, all of carbon parts would have been meant to be made as same quality.

because there are only a few ways to make carbon parts

Sure. But why you assume that others than INDIV made is not as good quality?
Do you know the detail process on how INDIV making it?

I have a F82 and bought every M Performance carbon fiber part for it. The part referenced here I bought for my X4M and it is absolutely every bit as good as those parts, FWIW.

no idea because there was no such news/hints/leaks. all oem m-performance parts have been already been released.
