It was going to happen sooner or later but here is one of the first renderings of what the production car will look like. Although the render over evaluates some details such as the decorative intake trims and wheels from the X3. But everything else seen here is exact to the car that will launch at the end of the year before its world premiere at the 2014 NAIAS , including the wheels and you will have to get used to the concept cars color.

And of course as expected, here is the first BMW X4M.

Scott I hope not!

The front end has lost its aggressiveness without the concepts headlights and lower grill. I hope the front and rear end lights carry over from the concept.

And those exhaust tips and lower rear end make it look weak!

Although I expect a watered down version from BMW, its just what they do. Not interested if it doesn't look 99% like the concept. I would expect the mirrors an door handles to change but nothing else needs to.

Hopefully it will have a better interior than the X3 for the money.

OMG gosh Scott, thanks for these pictures! I imagined it would look like that, just had to remove the nice looking bits from the concept car!!!!! But I still like it.

the X3 M Sport front end seems more aggressive than this.

I wonder if the roll out of the X4 / X4M will bring about more options on the X3. Not many wheels / performance upgrades available aftermarket currently.

Scott, from that picture it looks like the X4 will have the front reflectors in the headlights like the X3. Is that correct? If so, the US version will be stuck with the orange in the headlight assembly.
