Here is your updated track logbook. Your last run appears to be your best yet from a total run performance standpoint, at least based on interval times and trap speed, although you have a faster ET at Pueblo given the faster 0-60ft interval. The dragtimes site offers a conversion ET/speed based on a DA algorithm, and when I entered your final run's numbers, it calculated 11.574s @ 122.14mph! As most of your parameters were similar except for your Octane, it seems to suggest our S58 appreciates that improved number. Would still be interested to see what results you'd get if you drop your rear tire psi down to around 32 but still use the higher octane. Those are the things I want to try when I get a chance to head back to the Strip (lower rear tire psi and higher octane). Thanks again for sharing, and especially for the accurate info you provided along with your full slips! ![]() Edit 1055AM - please discard the original image (Image3) in case some of you downloaded it, as it had incorrect weather data. I mistakenly used Pueblo as the weather source instead of Lakewood CO. Only changed the DA by about 400-500 for each datapoint, but this should be more accurate and is now in line with what forza1976 broadly indicated. The new image is 'Image4 - corrected weather'. Awesome stuff Max, sorry about not including the DA calcs and weather, I'll include that next go around. Really appreciate this all in one place. I will make the pressure adjustments for next Wednesday, it's our last test and tune for the year so will head out to get some last runs in for the year at Bandimere. The last run it was really cool temperature wise, and the pressure adjustment may help being I actually had some slip hitting 2nd and 3rd gear. You could hear the tires squeak and that's pretty sweet from a 4500# SUV.

Granted the patch size increases under dynamic loading with force deformations, but just wondering if we might get a more balanced use of the xDrive on all four tires if their static patch areas are close to similar? Have no idea, but it'll be interesting to see if that pans out. |

Thanks, Daniely30 . Before I can post your spreadsheet, need your estimated tire psi and tank volume. You hadn't mentioned a tune with your previous 11.47s result, so it was conceivable just downpipes would cut 0.2s from stock, but you later shared a link to a BM3 93 Octane log from January, so were both of your runs using the same BM3 setting (ie 93 Octane)? Trying to figure out the 0.4 sec improvement this time around (seems too much just for the 1000’ DA difference)?

Solid runs tonight. Best run was 11.618. I was really hoping to get in the 11.5s, but very happy with my times. I'm car 783. Max, I think you have all my info, but let me know if you need anything! Fuel was 8 gallons 93 and 2 gallons E85. Car felt strong! Tire psi was 33 all around.
