X3 M40i to 2020 M135i
The time has come to sell my M40i. As I hardly do any miles, I’ve decided to sell up while the car is still worth a decent amount, so I’ve ordered a new M135i.
I was very impressed with the M135i, obviously it’s not going to be as refined as the M40i, engine wise, but for what I need a car for, it’ll be ideal. I find it odd that pretty much every review compares it to the M140i, and not the Golf R or A35, which is what it’s up against. Having driven both of those, the baby BMW is in a different league. I’ve got a few bits for sale in the classified section if anyone wants some boot accessories. I’m sure I’ll be back at some point! Last edited by RichM50d; 10-06-2019 at 04:01 PM.. |

Nice. I'm a last gen M135i and M235i owner whilst waiting for my X3 M40d, and I really like the new M135i.
It would've definitely been on my next car list if we didn't need substantially more space. |

You'll miss the B58. The new interior seems nice but I don't think I could personally live with the performance drop from the B58 to the B48.

On my daily drive to the gym and back, I’m lucky if I get over 60mph, so won’t miss the power. The 0-60 times are identical, on paper.
