Ventilated Seats (M40i)

To those with ventilated seats, how do you find them? I am finding it hard to find a comfortable spot to put my seat in..any suggestions on how to increase comfort?!

Any sport seats floating around, looking to possibly replace if available.

Thanks!

Hi,
We have them on our 2018 M40i and I find them very flat and uncomfortable!
Cheers
Steve

A new seat is probably the only option, unless you can alter your backside, a much more difficult proposition.

Does anyone have any resources for purchasing salvaged parts off a current G01?!

Any good websites or online auctions?

It's well documented that the ventilated seats are uncomfortable with very little side bolster support. I went black with blue stitching for this reason.

Have not had an issue with my ventilated seats. But did feel a difference with the unventilated seats.

Have you thought about adding a separate seat cushion? I bought a Thermarest cushion for long airplane flights (I hate airplane seats) but have found it’s pretty comfortable for driving on the highway as well.

I have this one and another larger square version which they since have discontinued.....

Thanks for the suggestion, but I am loooking for a more permanent option towards improved lateral support and bolstering.

Cheers
