Anyone had problem with lower plastic grill front of ventilation.

So I washed my m40i yesterday and I found out lower grill on left side of ventilation had cracks. It must have been hit by some rock on the highway or something. Anyone had this issue before? It seems like the one look like boomerang on front of vent looks very fragile.

In my last X1,I hit a blackbird, which is a small bird in the U.K. It caused £700 of damage to the trim like yours and also the efficient dynamic grill behind it, garage thought I had hit something more substantial like a chicken it was that Bad!
