Nets in front 2 doors
Hi Experts,
The nets in my driver and passenger doors are stretched waaaaay too much.. makes doors look horrible. I'd like to replace them... BUT cannot find a part number -- anyone have a suggestion? (and perhaps a point to a vendor I can reach-out to and buy from?). I DO have a pal who can do the labor part... but first gotta find the new/replacement nets.... HUGE THANKS, m. Here's a photo (which i've circled): |

Did you make any progress on this? The nets in the one I bought recently look like someone’s child was swinging from them or a dog used them as pull toys. They just hang at the same level as the plastic trim that they are supposed to hold things on.

no door-net solution yet...
Not yet -
but I asked the nice O'Reilly's fella who helped me last week.. he suggested I try to find some 'nets' the same color with a definitive top, and cut to cuz -- then secure into place (tautly) behind door (which will have taken off).. so gotta hunt some generic nets (fishing stores?) he also suggested going to (or maybe calling) junkyards.. really a shame -- cuz looks TERRIBLE! shouldn't have bought the car (which I did used).. I just thought I could order new nets from BMW, and have one of my friends with car-skills help me replace if you find a good solution, can you please toss back to me? thanks. |
