Thoughts on downpipes and or secondary cat deletes for X3/4M also group buy available

Need to make this thing louder 🤣, x3 m40 pulled up next to me and I put my head down lol.

Anyone else feel the same ??

I’ve been talking with a local shop by me and they are thinking about using my truck to prototype some different options 🤔

Here’s a pic of my X3m I changed it up a bit , I like to be different

I'm in Staten Island and I agree with you 100% this thing sounds pathetic... needs downpipes intakes and a 4" single mid pipe like the active autowerks had for the f80 immediately!

Although my car hasn't arrived yet, having driven one, I know I need mine to be louder. Stock with DP was great on the F80, so I'm hoping it will work well on the F97 as well. I also had an idea, but need a photo of underneath the car of the muffler area, to see if it the piping could be reworked so that when the valves were open, the muffler is bypassed, like on the F8X

I'm waiting for downpipes...this car is way too quiet. Even valves open it's just pathetic sounding. Downpipes and an active mid will do this thing justice

I'd like to physically see what's up before committing to even considering anything. No offense but "reputable shop in jersey" doesn't really cut It for a 80+k car lol

It’s brandon from the dealer you got your truck from and had your car serviced
I don’t put the shop on here I don’t want to violate rules of forum. That’s why I said message me. No one is forcing you to buy was going to show you pictures and the name of the place. It’s well known in the bmw community.
