Regular X-3 mats fit well, but the cargo liner for the trunk really slides around. The bit of felt they've got on the bottom isn't nearly enough to grip the carpet under it. I ended up getting some adhesive felt sheets & sticking them om the bottom of the cargo liner. That makes a huge difference & it now stays put, as it should have all along.

Used these last winter and just kept them in for the spring and summer.

FYI: I was on weathertechs site today from a private browser on my laptop. Didn't end up buying or entering any personal info. Added 2 things to the cart to consider. Somehow they got my email and emailed me my cart to complete the order. Not cool

Amazon keeps telling me the 3D maxpider trunk liner doesn’t fit. I’m assuming it does?
Are the rail tie downs still visible? Lastly, what do you like for containment? Weather techs box system? nets? More tie downs? BMW collapsible box? Last edited by ckrieg; 08-03-2020 at 11:58 PM.. |

I have found the weather tech liner in my x3MC to be just awful. Doesn’t stay in place and now the ends and sides are curled. It was so frustrating having to adjust it every time I loaded and unloaded my golf clubs that I finally conceded defeat and bought the 3D Maxpider cargo liner. What a world of difference. This one has a Velcro type material on the underside that grabs onto the trunk fabric to hold it in place. Seems perfect but will update if I have any issues after a bit of use.
