265/40 & 295/35. Pics inside

Before and after pics. Pirelli Scorpions. I’m on the fence with the rears. Might be too wide, I’ll see if the grow on me. I’m only expecting the rears to last one year, my wife drives about 18k/yr. if I change my mind, I’d go with 275/40’s.

It's also the style of tire. The scorpion is a 'chunkier' tires compared to the contis you replaced.

A 295 perf summer tire would look different.

If those fit without spacers... perfection! MORE pics please... (thinking about the same setup with Michelin PS4S)

Now, that's how an M SUV is supposed to look! Those tire sizes should've been stock from BMW. I'm completely sold and will be putting them on my X3MC once it arrives. Hell, I may not even switch back to the PS4-S in the summer time.

Thanks for the proper pics!

Those are without spacers! If you're going to run PS4S year around then you must live in a region where there's no chance of snow or inclement weather.

I'm jealous, lol 😏 I'm in MD and we are expecting snow next week, lol. However, I've been considering just running PS4S year around because my wife also has an SUV, so I figure if we need to go out in bad weather/snow, then we can just drive hers. 🤔

NO rubbing with the 265's up front? (again, assuming this is without spacers...)

I run the PS4S in the same exact size on my GLC, which are stock sizes. I think they stick out about the same.

Interesting finding.

If OP is running without a spacer on the rear, I am very mind blown.

My HRE setup is 21x11 on the rear with 295/35-21 summer tires, barely have clearance to the inner wheel well.

I suggest OP to check the clearance before having a cut on the inside wall from rubbing.

What is the offset on your HREs? If the offset is higher then you'll be closer to the wheel well

Also check between the front tire sidewall and the suspension mount.

Look at the center of the inner sidewall for rub marks on the tire.
