I see you are in Chicago. I bought my X3 from Patrick BMW in Schaumburg and had a very positive experience...did all the negotiation and communication via email until the very end. I dealt with Brian Appelhans (bappelhans@patrickbmwschaumburg.com).

International Auto in Milwaukee was really easy to deal with. Did most things over the phone - they ordered us what we wanted and had it in 5 weeks.

I worked with Bryan.

Fellow Chicagoan here. Just bought a 22 X3 from Jeremy Kuehler at BMW Schererville (just across the border in Indiana). He was a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend.

Crown in general was FANTASTIC. Drove in from PA for the X5 and worked with Perry Barclay. No BS, No pressure, and no issue with driving the car back to Pennsylvania from North Carolina on a hand shake and a promise to overnight a check from my credit union the following Monday.

Jon Shafer at BMW Santa Maria got me an excellent deal on my X3, though that was back in 2021 when good deals could be found. He actually founded Bimmerfest and is still very active on their forum. That dealer is between Santa Barbra and San Luis Obispo. They're not huge so they won't have the sheer volume of allocations as larger stores, so I'm not sure how much flexibility they have in pricing with the current shortages. All I know is before the constraints he had some of the best pricing in the country.

+1 on Jon. Can't say enough good things. Doesn't mess around, jack up prices etc. Got my M850 a few months ago from him and currently waiting on the delivery of an X3 M40i. Great communication.
