Where is the Adblue Lid ?

Hello,

Forgive me if this look stupid. I purchased this bimmer since Aug 2022, but never added one by myself. Is actually my F26 20D require Adblue ? As I do not found a Blue Lid inside the bonnet

I tried to , However, no mention of Adblue at all. -..-

Liquid used to reduce the amount of air pollution created by a diesel engine.

Not under the bonnet, it should be beside your fuel cap.

Thx, But there just a fuel cap, no adblue lid at all. Will there be any specific dates model of f26 doesn’t require adblue.

Could be, best bet is to ask you local BMW stealership or an independent shop.

Did you find out in the end? I also have a 2015 X4 f26 and seems there is no adblue
cap anywhere

Adblue or not

My 2015 X4 30d does not need Adblue and is Euro6 compliant so does not incur ULEZ charges. It’s one of the benefits of BMW engines. 3 litre diesel with no adblue and ULEZ compliant.

I'm under impression that all X4 diesel lines need no AdBlue since the DPF can regenerate itself under high temperatures. Only thing we need is to drive the engine warm or hot from time to time so that DPF unclogs itself.
