Most of the time I start off in eco pro mode - as the default . Lately I’ve noticed that the car reverts to comfort mode when starting off. Has something changed in the settings and how can I ensure I always automatically begin in eco pro? Thx

I’ve just had a look in the manual and it says “the last selected drive mode is automatically activated when drive-ready state is switched on”. Have you got different driver profiles being used perhaps? Possibly one key configured as guest and the other configured to your own profile for example?

Thx for your reply Xi- I initially thought this might be the case but no I’m the only driver and key holder. I keep meaning to go to the BMW main dealer and ask them but they are 20 miles away and I haven’t got round to it. When I do I’ll report back. I just have to remember to manually select eco pro. It’s an hard life 😝 Also the internal lighting brightness doesn’t retain its setting- although the colour does! Strange.

In an attempt to get this sorted I visited my local BMW dealership in Canterbury on 2 occasions. A young lad played around with the setting menus but the issue persisted and I gave up. This week both problems have rectified themselves following the latest software upgrade.....!

I have the same issue and have not been able to keep it in ECO mode . . .
