I have CP in my newer '23 GLS450 and it doesn't do that for the Contacts.

I have the remote software upgrade new version 03/2023.67, but when I click on the new features and improvements in My BMW app it references version 22-07 ?

Anyone else have this ?

Since you and I didn't get the software update (post #11^) like others did, just want to let you know that my update appeared today via both the MMI and the myBMW App, installing now!

I got it yesterday! One thing I noticed was “check for update” on the app disappeared before it notified me.
On the plus side my coding to close the tailgate with the fob still works!

I just got the notification today... i am getting an oil change within a month so maybe i'll let the dealer do it... either way, any changes?

Can you still code out the ASS and or have default start mode in sport?

The software update is quite slick. If using an iPhone enable the myBMW App to allow "software downloads and downloads by WiFi." The update was 439mb and quickly downloaded to the iPhone. Once in the car both WiFi and Bluetooth connect and you press install software via the myBMW App on your phone. It begins installing immediately.

After a few minutes, the myBMW App instructs you that: "you must drive the vehicle or the next time you drive the vehicle the software will finish installing."

I would say BMW created an excellent OTA system with no-hiccups whatsoever, very simple and quick, perfect.

Forgot to mention, my friend got his car back a couple days ago. They had to re-code every ECU. He said all is well now.

Every ECU getting hammered is an epic fail. Wow.

I’m willing to bet they do that as a precaution. Or that’s one whopper of a failed update.

If the software update prevents you from BimmerCodeing ASS default off I'm not going to accept it!
