Hi BMW-drivers,

I got an aux-in in my rear middle console but I cant use it.
When I press the "mode" button on my radio I can only switch between radio and cd-player. There is no "aux" option at all.
How do I enable it? There must be a feature to do so....

what year is your X3? Mine is 2011 and "mode" does not bring me to the aux input. Press the "CD" or "MEDIA" button on I-drive and it should bring you to the multimedia menu to select the aux input.

Hi, najnad.
Thanks for your reply although I found the answer on a different forum already.
I had to go into CD/Multimedia menu in my iDrive and then go back one step by pressing "left" and I could change CD to Aux input.
Now when I press the "mode" button it switches between AUX and radio.
Its hard to find out if you dont know about that feature.
