The unswept pad area is more like your second diagram there. Only the few folks with the 6-piston X5 M caliper upgrade would notice this small change.

Thank you for posting this photo for us. I use to have those same OWM 20" winter wheels on one of my X3 M's too. Looks like a rear rotor photo, which we appreciate. Would you mind taking one more photo of the front rotors for us as well... ?

Even compared to the much lighter C6Z, the F97 is no where even remotely considered slow. But that was a good one man!
