It is definitely one of the disappointments with BMW. Across the board for all their models the colour choices could be charitably called "conservative", for the most part they look nice but are boring. With the exception of some of the M sedans.

The X3 has the blandest colors on earth. If you don't want white, black, silver, or gray, the only choice is blue. The X3M has a dark silver I like but not avail on the X3M40.

BMW doesn’t offer flamenco red for the X3 because they feel there is more of a demand for snot green and crap brown.

Seriously, screw flamenco red. It’s too tame. I want to see them with a fire engine type red. A bright red. If you’re going to go with red, you might as well make a statement.
