Bridgestone Driveguard AS Fits M40i

I like the idea of run flats. I’m not 30 years old anymore yet enjoy the feeling of my M40i having come from a 16 Macan S. I did not want to go to AS non flats.

Bridgestone has the Driveguard AS run flat tires in my 20 inch staggered rims.

Has anyone tried them?

Last time I checked, they only had the front 245/45/20 and didn't make it for the rear 275/40/20. Is that new?

Your correct. It said it fit my car. They meant non staggered.

Several years ago I bought Bridgestone Driveguard tires for my 2010 E90. They were good, if not great, tires. They were also quiet and I was very happy with them.

The tires on my wife's G01 are now at 4mm and I expect I'll need to replace them in the coming months. I was thinking about Driveguards but the X3 came with 104H tires and, while they have the same size available, I don't believe they have the necessary load rating. I've always worked with the understanding that you should never go with a lesser load or speed rating. Just something to keep in mind or to ask the shop.

I'm fairly certain I'll go w/ run flat tires again as it's my wife's car and the convenience factor is worth added cost.
