Having owned a 235 and an M2 and M3, I know the m performance variety is a far, far, far, far cry from a true M. That's all.... I expect no difference here, similarity in seats be damned.

Cool cars i guess if ya like SUV's looks better then most, But if i have learned something from my experience owning my X1 witch is more of a SAV then SUV. Is i never ever want a big car again, i am to much of a clean freak to be able to have a big car like this, it takes me literately and i am not kidding to wash and dry my car and i can't even reach the roof of the X1 without standing on a small step ladder well it takes me close to 3 hours to get all done.
And i live in Sweden so we have nothing but rain, snow and slush everywhere this time of the year so it gets a bit exhausting to keep the car in mint condition during winter. Other then that big cars i like them when they are clean because of the sunlight reflecting of them it looks shiny.

Photo of the X3M40i seat vs X3M seat, latter has additional upper shoulder/thoracic spine support.

I suspect that testing/development on the Michelins determined that a near balanced 4 tire set up had the preferred performance.

Nice looking cars, particularly the X4M. Will give the Macan Turbo solid competition.
Straight line performance is a bit slow though - based on what a Tesla P3 can do, the mode Y performance will kill it , both in a straight line and one the track (if someone actually tracks these things) I hope they have a M version of the iX3 coming because this will become outdated very soon. |

About time BMW M Division!
About time BMW M Division! Finally I can carry all my stuff if needed and still rip. Wow, I may actually be able tow a motorcycle or JetSki as well...
BMW just make the Competition version standard! So the bean counters can lower the price, make one and be done with it. |

Wanted: X4M with a Carbon Fiber Roof with a Thule rack. Don't want a heavy breakable and a potentially leak hazard panoramic moonroof and useless roof rails.
The wheels look better than anticipated. Everything is looks pretty legit especially the interior cockpit and seats. The only thing missing is really the more aggressive bulging wheel arches I was hoping for. Perhaps in time. Oh and they could've done away with the whole "Competition" badging part. Just make it an "MC", you don't need to spell out "Competition" on everything. |

Interior trim looks pretty close to the M40i, wonder if we'll be able to order replacement Carbon Fiber trim from the X3/4M and install it in an X3/4M40i?
Also knew this was coming and was going to happen but I really wanna cancel my order and get one of these. Timing just doesn't align with what I need and cost is a lot more.

OK we now know the next G80 M3 engine would be HP and torque.
