M2 button fails to play
Why does the M2 button fail to engage occasionally
Press M2 and then press it again to confirm, floor the peddle and... nothing. It just drives along just as it did before i tried waking her up Yes the car is warmed up and its never happened M1 Anyone else experienced this |

What have you programmed into M2 button? Also, it’s a toggle, if you press it, then press it again “to confirm”, you’ve just turned it off.

Yep, DCS off and it asks me to confirm so a second press. On the odd occasion after confirming it almost locks up i.e. flooring the peddle does nothing, not even increasing speed slowly

My M2 setting is MDM with everything in sport plus. Sometimes when I pressed the M2 the dash showed “cannot be activated”. After I went to the dealer for a software update the M2 button has been working fine.

If you have your M2 setting for Transmission in "S" for manual shifting and you are in a high gear before you press M2 then it will not shift that's why it won't move, you would need to shift down.
