Launch control?

I finally wan't to try launch control but can't get it to activate.

I turn off traction control with a fast press on the traction button

Put the car in sport+ mode

Put the shifter in sport shifting mode

Press the break firmly with my left foot

Press the accelerator firmly with my right foot

The car just revs like mad but i don't get the flag symbol. What am I doing wrong? Help please!

Garage List
You need to press through the kickdown on the accelerator pedal. Then you get the flag in your instrument cluster and release brake within 3 seconds.

I could have sworn I pressed through the kickdown. Engine revved to redline.

Hi,
Engine should not go the redline for launch control.
We have launch on both our cars - so can’t recall exact figure - but it should hold at about 3000 rpm, flag on dash - release brake and whoosh!
Cheers
Steve

Try putting it in sport plus first, then transmission in sport, then press traction control button

You don't need to turn traction control button off. Putting the car in sport plus does that for you.
