Extended leather really adds a feeling of quality and luxury to the cabin. I am not a fan of "fake" materials in the cabin. I like leather, wood, aluminum, etc.

There's already leather on the seats to clean and condition, what's another 2 minutes to scrub down the dash? And on the topic of UV rays, most people who can afford a car with extended leather don't keep the cars long enough to see any radiation-induced damaged.

Yes it is. This color is shown as varying shades depending on the photo. I think it would be nice if they made it with something other than red inserts.

Excited, got my X3M comp into the order bank! Toronto red/black alacantara beige with all options but M drivers (delays production and no pano roof till August) system says build finished first week of May.

looks like the X3M/X4M have disappeared from the car configurator on the BMW Canada website...

EDIT: I take that back. Seemed to be a glitch depending on where you go into the build & price configurator. It's still there.

No, the M Drivers Package is not available until August, it also deletes the panoramic roof.

He is just saying he didn't get the M Drivers Package because he would have had to wait till Aug and wouldn't be able to get the pano roof if he did.

No, the M Drivers Package is not available until August, it also deletes the panoramic roof.

Correct. It would delay production till 08/19 and it deletes the pano roof so the package becomes cheaper. It's on the order sheet.

I really like both X3M & X4M looks very aggressive in person. Interior is dressed up nicely with Merino leather. They had the Donington Grey X3M & Toronto Red X4M. Didn't play around with the tech a lot due to the number of people around the vehicles. The 21" wheels fit the car very nicely and they compliment the rest of the design. The black trim pieces are a nice touch. I personally like the X3M more due to the practicality and the rear passenger head room.

No pics? Did they have the yellow beige interior? Is it really as yellow as photos show?

Sorry there was an embargo and we had to leave all cameras and phones behind before we were allowed to view. They didn't have the Black/Yellow interior for neither X3M or X4M.

I received an email 1 month ago, to take part to it. Zurich will be home of M town during +/- 2 weeks. you first attend to the presentation of the X3M, X4M, and the M8, then you have a transfer (by helicopter if the weather is good) to a Driving center. There you have 2 hours of drift school with M cars (mostly M2/M3/M4 and M5).

And the first 100 swiss buyers of X3M & X4M will get a voucher to M school training in germany next year

Bmw Switzerland did it good.
