My X3 was built in March according to the car sticker. I wonder if they started putting the 'revised' 360bhp ECU's in earlier than now ... I hope so - not that 5bhp will make any difference in the grand scheme of things but it's the principle !

I will have to get it rolling roaded once it has some miles on it to see that it hopefully is a lot over 355bhp anyway.

360ps (as used by the Germans) is 355 imperial horsepower. I don't think there have ever been two different power outputs it just depends which HP was being quoted and where.

Before they fitted the filter it had 360hp

Yes in ps. I have a March 18 car with no GPF/OPF and its 265kw or 360ps in german/European or 355BHP in imperial (UK) hp.

Its a myth that they dropped 5bhp people just got confused then others started quoting them.

EDIT: My theory is actually wrong the 2018 cars did drop down to 260KW which was 354PS/Hp and 349 (UK)BHP.

Yes it was introduced around July18 ish.

agree, and they (BMW) will MOST DEFINITELY take a lot of Business from current Audi "S" owners given the blanket shift to diesel (in Europe Only!) for S4-S7 models.
