Question for those with comfort access
Context: I don't have the OE remote start function, so if I wanted to warm or cool the cabin before a drive I would go and start the car and go back into the house while I let it run.
Scenario: For obvious reasons I want to lock the doors while the car is "on" and unattended, which works perfectly fine, except for a loud horn honk that occurs at the moment of locking via key fob while walking away. Question: does anyone know how to disable this horn honk that occurs when locking the car via key fob while engine is running? Nb: this is not the OE alarm chirp, it's a full on horn honk! |

Correct…just went to the Bimmercodeapp website…and this coding feature is listed/supported for the G01 X3. The coding parameter is found in the BDC_Body2 control unit:

I don't plan on coding anything else, I feel it's would be a waste to buy a dongle + coding license just for one change. Anyone have success with coding requests at their dealership? |
