Front Tyre Wear - Replacement

I've been fortunate I suppose that I haven't needed to buy new tyres for any of my cars for many years. I've usually swapped my cars long before new tyres were needed.
However, in these unusual times I'm having to keep my current car until I can order another, probably for next Spring.
The front tyres on my X3 are showing some outer edge wear and I'm aware that other people have had similar issues. So, here's the question.

I currently have Bridgestone Alenza RFTs and have researched what is available in the required size - 245/45 R20 103W RFT.

Like for like Bridgestone Alenza at £227 fitted.
or
Pirelli P Zero at £184 fitted.

If I choose the Pirellis will there be any issue (other than looks) in having these on the front and Bridgestones on the rear ?

I won't be doing any great mileage, so the same poor wearability need not be an issue.
Thanks.

Definitely no problem at all. Are the P Zeros the new PZ4 model or the old ones? Either will probably be better than those Alenzas though.

I've now got Goodyears on front and P Zeros on rear.

Thanks for that. They're the old ones but I'm sure they'll do me for a few months.

Are they run flats? The PZ4 non run flats are only £116 each here:

Yes, they are run-flats. The price I quoted includes fitting which I didn't think was too bad.

Yes not bad for run flats, but the non run flats would save you £100.

wear at outer edges: might be worth front alignment check....if "toe" gets slightly out of spec that can cause excissive outer edge wear.

The Pirellis in runflat sizes or these cars are the PZ4 they were in the 21" for my car anyway. I put them on to replace the Alenzas it originally came with.
