I'm just surprised you got 68k on an M40i with ultimate package! :O
I would of skipped the dealer mags and tires. I'm getting after market mags. These are costing about 220$ each. Plus they put the BMW logo in the middle Costco quoted me 1100$ on Michelin Xi3 installed.

As I said...good customer of theirs, so that probably helps!

Even if he landed at around 6%, $1k for loyalty, maybe chop off that ridiculous bmw canada $395 "admin" fee, etc...I bet he'll get you down to around $70k plus tax of course. Assuming you're looking at the ultimate pkg.

I did buy this shortly after the new redesigned (at that time) model came out in November 2017 so perhaps discounts at that time were not as good as now. Seems folks are getting the M40i for not much more than I paid for a 30i back then.
I definitely have a deal close to this than this on my M40i and am asking for a better deal. It's most likely because it was brand new and there wasnt much being offered. I think it's similar on the G20s right now if you are one the first few ordering it.

Depends on incentives also. Unfortunately my first BMW so no loyalty cash. The Montreal auto show is coming up. I'm going to visit the BMW booth and see if I can get any BMW Canada additional discount due to the event. My dealer said that if BMW Canada came out with any promo before delivery they would adjust the price.

Freight/PDI/Taxes are brutal here

EDIT: Production date Sept 6, pick up Sept 29
Who is the dealer if you don't mind me asking. I am going to go back and beat my dealer down.
Did you pay cash? If so they should not charge you documentation fees.

It's definitley a little noisy at 630a!! But not as throaty as my 235i was! I had a catted DP and res delete on that vehicle. Now THAT cold start was loud at 630a lol

But love my x3...beautiful sound. Shame the Dinan Stage 1 tune I was planning on fell through (Dinan having some difficulty with the software apparently).

Are you buying TPMS sensors too? I considered buying the rims and tires outside, but considering the whole package includes the sensors and installation, it's not so bad. It's convenient at least.
I can still change my mind as the winter tire package is sold by the dealership, so I can just give up on it by delivery time... although I'm quite sure I will buy it.

For sure! I hope they will be more aggressive on discounts once I decide to trade the X3 for another BMW in the future.

Trues story... I test drove the M40i with the wife. When I started the car and waited for it to warm up the wife asked the sales person "what's the?! Is there a problem with the muffler". I knew right there it was the 30i

There's a guy in Calgary where I bought my TPMS sensors - around $46 x4 for the 433MHz versions. Purchased the Bridgstone 19" + TPMS and rims from Replica in Montreal and I think the set was around $2.4k give or take.

I don't think the TPMS sensors are included. I'm working off the website and have not pulled the trigger yet.

Very happy. Other than the TPMS sensors (from Calgay) I bought the rims and tires from a local shop in Mississauga - Tires23 - just google them
they have a shop in Mississauga and Markham. Great guys and great prices for sure. Even my dealer sends everyone there! I can't speak to the Markham office though, just the Mississauga office.

For the TPMS sensors, just google TPMS CALGARY and his site will be the first or second link.

See my other post - no shipping since this tire/rim dealer is in my city so purchased and installed at their shop.

The TPMS sensors shipped from Calgary via Canada Post free shipping to Toronto.

Ops, my bad! You got a nice price on the full package! I might consider doing that too.

They really are great guys. They'll help you find the right rims and the right tires. Best service I've encountered buying tires. Never knew they existed until my dealer pointed me and my wife there in Oct. No hard sell on a given brand, just what you can afford and what's right for the vehicle.

Freight and PDI is a not something that can be negotiated as the dealer does not mark that up. The dealer pays the exact Freight & PDI that you pay and passes it on. It is not a gimmick like everything else in the auto buying process... lol
