I got around 7% off from MSRP, Montreal area. I picked up my car since 2017 December. It's X3 M40i with ultimate pkg. The final MSRP is $70,000

I'm also waiting for production + delivery, so I can leave an update here once I get the car.
Dealer told me the same so I'm surprised.

I have heard post production around 4 weeks to get the car. Might be a little early but depends on when they can get it on the train and sometimes it sits for up to 10 days waiting to get on a train.

Nearly identical deal for my m40i (Toronto), around 7% + 1,000 loyalty and an additional $750 discount for cash deal. Total in the end just under $68k for the ultimate pkg

Freight/PDI/Taxes are brutal here

EDIT: Production date Sept 6, pick up Sept 29

Pfaff. Full disclosure, long time customer of theirs...8 or so cars over the last ~9 years.

But, you can still do better than ~4% for sure.

750$ cash deal was that because they were charging documentation fees and they were removed ? I have not heard of cash discount unless it's waiving documentation fees

yeah, i almost forgot the 1000 loyalty, but i choose the percentage reduction, 0.75 or something, because it was the first patch, only after HEA it is hard to get extra discounts

Presumably. I've always paid cash and they've always given me that extra "discount" and was said to be because of cash deal. They get their money quicker so worth their while I suppose

That's an awesome deal! I got around 69k... but on an 30i with everything included (M Sport, Ultimate Package - except for the sport suspension) + winter tire package ($around 3600). I wonder if I got a good deal. :|
The sales guy gave me a 5.5% discount on top of MSRP.

It's not terrible...you got winter tires with that...I had to go after market for mine so add another ~$2.5k or so to my deal

Good question. I've always put down $5,000 but I've never had to bail on a deal (yet!!). I THINK you get your deposit back, but don't quote me

I had the impression it was an "OK" to good deal considering the winter tires (69k including freight, PDI, admin fees etc before taxes).
I'm just surprised you got 68k on an M40i with ultimate package! :O

I'm disappointed with what I paid after reading all the great deals that people have gotten.

I purchased a 2018 X3 30i with the ultimate package, metallic paint, and piano black trim for about 72k all in (Toronto). I did buy this shortly after the new redesigned (at that time) model came out in November 2017 so perhaps discounts at that time were not as good as now. Seems folks are getting the M40i for not much more than I paid for a 30i back then.
