Had to bring this thread to the top.

Very close on getting X4 in Dark Graphite with Red Tacora Leather.

Your old pictures helped.

Im deciding if i should go with Dark Graphite or Carbon Black.

I had carbon black on previous F25 so Im leaning towards DG.

I want Carbon black but don't want to pair it with red leather (x4). Wife is not a fan of carbon black in general. I don't get it

Is the BMW Dark Graphite similar to Porsche Agate Gray or is it darker? It is very difficult to discern from pictures of the M40i on the BMW website or car ads?

Thanks.

DG is quite dark in person, however it takes on many different shade variations based on the lighting.

Having had over 10 Jet Black BMW's prior, I really have enjoyed DG on my latest BMW... it doesn't show too many swirl marks or other dirt.

I particularly think the DG looks fantastic with Cognac!

I can see the color shift in bright sunlight in the image attached. In other photos I have seen it appears much darker, an interesting color. This one has the Canberra Beige leather, Cognac would look killer, like you said.

Noticed the Dark Graphite questions, so backed her out of the garage and took a few more photos just now with a late afternoon sun angle. Without a wash lately one has to forgive her dust and dirt, but these were impromptu photos.

In overcast skies, it looks suhweet. It's like this slick silvery gray thing. Sort of like my pictures here.

In the direct sun, I feel like it's hard to distinguish from black right away from a distance. Up close, it's clearly not black.

These are of my dark graphite. I have a black interior, and was torn between black and cognac. I saw a dark graphite/cognac one and while it looks good, I think you can't go wrong with either choice there. I'm more partial to black interiors in general because it's classic and little easier to keep clean IMO. It's a nice tone though on the cognac.

Here's a video where I tried timing the 0-60 and 0-100 runs on my 2020 X3 M40i. This car is awesome.

Hi everyone

recently I have been looking at getting a 2018 BMW X3 M40i with the ultimate package. The test drive was great. Does anyone have any feedback on the suv, any pros or cons? is it worth getting or no? I assume tires for 21" will be a bank breaker. I currently drive a 2013 F30 Xdrive sedan, love it and it's been a great car.
