he is so helping me get my next BMW. I was so disappointed at the MF padding and still mad about it. However I did get a sizable loyalty rebate from my dealership and that pretty much equalled any MF issues. Just upset this practice went on and I am not doing this ever again. I will buy a car from Georgia if I have too.

Check this out; this is what I'm speaking on....people are getting great deals....this is even better than what I was offered....

So what are you guys thinking, is the $3500 discount showing on the lease AFTER negotiations with the dealer? as someone else said they got $8,500 off.

So say its a $84,000 MSRP and you negotiate 5% off that with the dealer, $4,200, then the $3,500 incentive on top of that = $7,700 off, or will the dealer just laugh at me,

of course that $3,500 is on leases and I would not be leasing.

They need to sell a vehicle more than you need to buy one. Go in with what you'd buy the vehicle for and simply negotiate. Value is intrinsic (of course there is a real dollar amount/ value these are worth but the market does affect that too) If they laugh at your offer then laugh at their selling price. Eventually you'll be laughing while driving your X3MC Guaranteed they'll make a deal with you.

How can you get 3500 incentive. I think loyalty credit is 1500, or am I missing something?

Does anyone know if the recent cut in rates by the Fed will affect the lease rates going forward?; since loan/lease rates are market related....

Contact Maria Shuldice at Freehold BMW. Go into your negotiations well-informed (exact build MSRP, exact invoice, any and all incentives you qualify for, etc). Start at whatever invoice + $$$ (or invoice minus if you want to try to dip into the 5% of MSRP dealer holdback too) amount you are comfortable with. Do NOT include any incentives in this number. Those come after you've agreed to the selling price as they do not come out of the dealer's profit/pocket.

You could even try using your Costco membership (if you have one) to get a better price without dealing with negotiating directly with a dealer.

By the way, you went to probably the 4 worst dealerships in the state as far as pricing is concerned

Best I've found so far are Freehold and Springfield.

Hi, thank you... great advice I appreciate it very much!
Now I do have a Costco number, but I don't understand how to use it in this instance... and forgive my ignorance.... give it to the dealer you advice or go to Costco rather?
