I had no luck last year when I was looking. How are you buying the car? Finance? Bmw finance?

If so, if you can wait it will be cheaper to buy new with the lower rate and higher gfv

Dealers are very unlikely to budge on the listed prices in the current market. You could always ask of course.

Not sure if it's different in the UK, but here in the states, in November I got the dealer to move $2k down on the purchase of an X3M and move up $2K on my trade (F30 328i).

Your best bet is to contact a couple dealers via auto trader ads and see if there is any movement, and then see what a new car under pcp could be. Finance is still 2.9% but it does look like the incentives of around £11k have disappeared, though it was difficult to find the PCP calculator.

Not so mate ..John Clarke BMW have increased their contribution on new LCI's (£13.6k deposit contribution now , inc. BMWFS £6k contribution).

Also if looking for used approved X3MC's check also the BMW used approved Website .. links provided to both below:

https://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/result/?b...es&source=home

https://www.john-clark.co.uk/bmw/new...m-competition/

What I did was take JC's offer and went for a price match or better with more local to me BMW Dealers

I used this simple PCP tool when optioneering
http://www.pcpcal.co.uk/

Also push hard on your SQ5 Trade-in , use webuyanycar / motorway to see how the value is stacking up and compare with what dealers are prepared to offer .. I went from 2k neg equity on my 2018 440i in Jan 21 to 4.5k positivity equity by Jun-21 , I was hounded by wbac phone calls as to when I was selling them my 440i ... eventually preferred dealer beat both WBAC and Motorway by £500 and £1000 respectively. (£22k to £26.5k), some dealers would n't budge on £21.5K, even with UA prices escalating .. not mentioning any names .... ooops Williams BMW ( they lost my business on an S55 M4C Ultimate in SMB and an M2C fully loaded in LBB (All MPerformace external and internal parts) it worked out well really as the X3MC fully eclipses these "also rans" , with a massive price saving to boot over a 1year old M4C and M2C. Whilst my 440i was increasing in price the M4C and M2C that were available went up by 8 grand for the same time period. I would think any one who bought back end of 2020 would be absolutely quids in by mid year 21 up to present day. Certainly if purchased before Q4 2020 as Q3 had used approved "M" cars @ 2.9% apr

Try Motorway too mate.. they tend to be better then wbac in terms of valuation .. wbac are quite disgraceful really as they do not take into consideration any factory options / dealer fit options. Motorway's offering was at 500-1000 more than wbac .. my bmw dealer went a tad higher than motorway 1) to secure an A1 used approved back into stock and 2) got my business for the X3MC.

I would have several BMW dealers on the table.. keep pushing until your get 38k+ mate, for starters add 1k onto wbac

Also check out webuyprestige cars too, they take into consideration the exact spec and price accordingly ..which could take you to 40k

What spec are you looking for? My new X4M arrives in April and I need to sell my X3M as I can’t px due to use a forces discount deal with Park Lane BMW.
