We sold ~40 equal-length midpipes, and delivered 37 and only 3 customers are still waiting.

I’m finding some drone at low rpm and light throttle with valves open. There is a little rasp during those same conditions with the valves closed. With enough throttle it goes away. Sound is kind of subjective and it’s best to try and hear it in person if you can. I will say that I’m very happy with how it sounds now. The sound finally matches the driving experience. The snapping bark between gears at WOT alone is worth the cost of the midpipe.

The more sound clips we have the better for our ears. Do you have a X3M base (non-comp) or comp model?

Whats the deal with the resonated EL midpipes? what is the purpose of the resonators?

Probably to eliminate any rasp and to slightly even out the tone.
I can see this being useful if you intend to run catless downpipes as the sound can get very metallic

I will agree with you, there's a certain, not so sweet spot at low throttle with the valves closed that does give it some rasp, but with a little more throttle, it goes away entirely.

I guess I don't really notice the drone all too much, but peoples ears are different.

I still love it, especially when giving it the beans!

no aftermarket valve controller, just the stock comp valve button
