It kind of makes you wonder why some of us on this forum do obscure the plate though (I do it too!), considering our plates are literally seen on a daily basis by probably hundreds of people as we drive around or sit in a parking lot.

Agree.

For photo purposes blocking them out perhaps tags the eye away from the jumble of numbers/letters. And although Taking the plate completely off would be the best, it's not really a feasible option.

All states (US) should just require a rear plate.

Just my thoughts.

I'm definitely glad AZ only requires a rear plate.

Are you able to compare the part # from the ECS website to the Maxton site?

Without them showing an image it's hard to tell, but by the description, it certainly sounds like it.

The Maxton code is BM-X3-01-MPACK-FD1R+FD1 if that helps

Good Gawd I didn’t see that part. I’d be able to chisel my own from stone before that hahaha

Thanks though!

I had cardusio a company in east London fit it for me, you can find them on Instagram @cardusio
Can you possibly post some direct side pictures of your vehicle? Would love to see how the lip and spoiler look from the side.

Guys, I live in Illinois which is government-wise a horrible state, but I haven’t had a front license plate on my car for the past 10+ years. A Nissan Maxima, a scat pack charger, a C63 AMG, and now my X3 M40i, no front plate on any of them, never been pulled over regarding it. And I never drive the speed limit.

I think I'm digging the look of the Maxton over the 3D design CF lip the more I look at it.

Does anyone have front on pics at slightly lower levels? This type of level:

Got mine delivered today. Looks great. Now I just need to figure out how to mount it. I have VHB and screws so I'm all good. But how to align it correctly when the VHB is sticky 🧐

When did you order it? I had to chase them for the past 3 weeks and was told that they got mine in today and will post it out on Friday.

Also, for the UK chaps, can you recommend someone that can fit it in the midlands?
